2006年全国模范华文教师奖 — Inspiring Chinese Language Teachers Awards 200616 November 2005 To give due recognition to deserving Chinese language teachers who have shown exemplary efforts towards the teaching of Chinese language and culture, Lianhe Zaobao has opened the nomination period for the Inspiring Chinese Language Teachers Award 2006. 肯定并褒奖华文教师对中华语文与文化教育所做出的贡献。 Nomination 推荐方式The nomination is open to students, parents, teachers and principals. Nominations have to be made on official entry form. These forms can be obtained from the school. It is downloadable at www.zaobao.com too. Photocopies of the form are also acceptable. 家长，学生，教师及校长可采用主办当局提供的表格推荐。表格可向各校教务处或www.zaobao.com索取，复印本同样有效。 Each nomination has to be supported by an English or Chinese write-up of maximum 500 words on the nominee's achievements in 2005. The submission has to reach Lianhe Zaobao by 31 January 2006. 推荐者应以书面形（中英文均可，以500字为限），将所推荐的教师在2005内的模范事迹填写在表格上，并将它于2006年1月31日前送达或寄交主办当局。 Eligibility 资格All Chinese language teachers in primary and secondary schools, pre-universities and junior colleges, except past winners of the award, are eligible. The nominee must be able to rekindle students' interest in the Chinese language and culture through creative teaching or extra-curricular activities. 所有中、小学，高中或初院华文教师均可受推荐（曾经荣获全国模范华文教师奖的老师除外）。 The nominee's dedication in helping students in their learning, the level of concern and understanding for the students, and ability to command respect from students, parents and fellow teachers are important pre-requisites. 受推荐的老师必须激发学生对中华语文与文化的兴趣、并且通过创新的教学法或课外活动提高教学效益。此外，还具有献身精神，关心及了解学以及深受学生，家长和同事们的爱戴。 Prizes 奖励All winners will receive a $500 cash voucher, a free study trip to China and a trophy each. 模范华文教师可获得奖杯一座，现金500元及参加特别组织的中国教育考察团。 Organisers and SupportersThe award is organised by Lianhe Zaobao together with the Singapore Middle School Chinese Teachers' Association, the Singapore Chinese Teachers' Union.
